2 June 2013
Just updated my iphone today. It was in a bad mess hahaaa! Some random OTDs and reviews, there's alot more but I gotta sort out the pictures :(
Happy June 2013 people, time flies huh, it's already mid-year.
Have you been living a meaningful life?

1. TheStageWalk - Lacie Crop Top in black
It's a really pretty top with sexy back full of lace hahaa.
Yep the back is translucent, the front is opaque though.
Among all the colours, the reason I chose black is because black can be worn with black bra without it looking weird. I hate nubra because of the insecurity hahaa.
Fits great. Best worn with high waisted bottoms :)
Even though this is manufactured piece by HVV, I saw a couple of other blogshops selling it as well.
You'll never go wrong with denim right? :)
Fits great.
Non-sheer.
The printed pants are from Uniqlo, recently I'm really into printed pants and stuffs hahaa.
Stripe is the "IN" thing now, how can you don't have something stripey hehe.
The top is of good material, thick and not sheer.
There is a back zip for easy wearing.
The only thing I don't like is the neckline, slightly high cut to my liking, but not an issue.
Fits great.
I love the cutting of this top.
High neck/slight turtleneck design with the cut-in.
Fits great with slight allowance.
Not sheer for grey and stretchy.
Best worn with high waisted bottom if you are shy to bare midriff.
If you have been following me, you would know I am a fan of basics hahaa :)
The Emery Top is also a nice basic to own.
Basics can be boring because it is plain but this comes with leopard print sleeves to spice it up.
It is slightly sheer under strong light but not an issue with nude undergarment :)
Sizing fits great and comfortable because it's so roomy.
May be too big for uk 4.
19/05/2013
Sorry for the lack of updates! When I have too much free time, I lepak here and there, ended up uh....it's time for sleep already :< hahaa.
Yes...it's the same thing today, just finished my dinner & it's 9pm plus already, felt lazy to do reviews.
Else you can follow me at instagram - fiorellarain for day to day updates&questions.
I don't know if I'm lazy or just really tired.
These days my attention span is so short.
I fell asleep during meetings, I fell asleep replying emails, I fell asleep during classes.
Or rather, I fell asleep whenever I have to listen to someone giving a speech.
Am I normal or I am turning into a pig? LoL.
A song to share. :)
Remember to pause the blog's music player first before playing the video.
05/05 Grandma story
Seriously, I think I need to start moving. I can't keep walking the same pace forever and ever.Kick my lazy ass engine to start moving please! :X
Still thinking of what I should do next, first.
1. Getting my university degree
Been dragging for awhile because I just cannot make up my mind which school or course to select.
I'm too fickle. I suck at making choices.
I'm considering Kaplan (: Well SIM is nice but sadly too far for me.
Well, my choices basically revolves around: business management, international business and marketing.
Business management is common. International business sounds cool - great when you are working for a company with global influence. Marketing is common too but there's a fun part to it.
Urgh. which which which.
I also like the arts & design, but I don't have any background, is it too late to start/jump field? hahaa.
Entrepreneurship - I even dreamed of having my own salad shop/cupcake, waffles & muffins cafe/fashion design label.
Cheers if you are stuck in the same dilemma as me geeeez -.-''

2. Getting Braces
Yep so I had 7 teeth removed (4 wisdoms, 2 bottom molars, 1 buried teeth in gum under the front bottom row) last year October 2012 under General Anesthesia in KTPH. I have yet to blog about it though, will share my experience soon.
For braces, I will need to remove 2-4 more front teeth next. Can you believe it, total of 11 teeth gone hahaha.
I think doctor says I have 32/33 teeth (inclusive of 4 wisdom), with 11 gone, i'll be left with 22.
I actually have a very small jaw but too many teeth. Tooth fairy, why you so generous bless me with so many teeth?
I have one upcoming checkup either June/July 2013, I can't remember date, just gonna wait for the dental text reminder lol.
Last year I did consider removing all 11 teeth at one shot, so can save me the trouble of going a second round. However I worry I cannot eat with so many operation sites in my mouth LOL. Ultimately I am still thinking of food food food zzz. But seriously, I really cannot eat except go on liquid diet if I remove all 11 at one go.
I am also worried of the blood loss hahaa, what if something went wrong during the operation even though the surgeon is like the head of department? You may be one of the screwed up 1% haywire surgery victim if lady luck is not with you. hahaaa choy. Alot went through my mind uh hahaa.
Yes Yes, so now my second round. Although as distressed as I am trying to battle dental phobia and the anticipated pain, I am excited on the other hand when I think of beautiful straight white pearlies waiting for me and a new face shape. Yes a new face shape like literally 'jail break' hahaa! My face shape changed when I underwent my 1st dental surgery. Everyone was like, eh your face smaller?
With braces, my face shape will definitely changed, perhaps to my favourite 'gua zi' face? OK Vera this time you cannot freak out from dental clinic okay hahahaa.
It's so damn troublesome to have this braces done and in addition to my dental phobia, the plan got dragged for almost 3 years and I lost 2 bottom molars out of the blue because of this stupid wisdom teeth zz.
Moral of the story, don't delay the extraction of your wisdom tooth if yours is growing out in the wrong position! Wrong wrong, when you are young, once your milk teeth is shaky, pull it out at once and don't wait for it to drop on it's own, total disaster I tell you, I regret much because of my freaking low pain tolerance.
Now I have to go through more pain hahaa shit, and also how I am going to face people when I have no front teeth with braces HAHAHAHAAA ugly shit urgh. How am I suppose to present at work or communicate with people or even kissss in future LOLLLL
3. Car license
And finally my car license! When I have the time to take my license so I can drive!
Va Va Vroommmm!
Actually my worry is, out of all the 3 tasks, which one should I do first or in parallel, bearing in mind i'm working as well?!
Life is such a _____
28/4 Lazy sunday
I just fully recovered from flu one week ago.And I caught fever again yesterday, 38 degree when I measured at night, What the fish, what's wrong with my body.
No wonder I keep complaining cold outside -.- Forever I'm asking my friend is the air con too strong, are you cold are you cold are you cold hahaaa joke.
Took a pill before I slept and when I woke up at noon today, it's 37.5 degree, it's normal right?! :(
I really really don't want to fall sick again, dampens everything.
Feels weak, muscle ache, head like one sotong, omg even worse with medicine. I get drunk with medicine.
I think I just gotta down loads of water into my body today, no other way out, medicine sucks. Trying not to eat any unless it gets worse at night.
I pray it's just a passing fever and not flu again or I can just bang my head on the wall urgh :(
Anyway, overdue reviews and OTDs:
1. AmberAvenue:
a. Lisbet Playsuit in Cyan (S)
b. Geometrical Playsuit in Navy Blue (S)
The playsuits from AmberAvenue are a hit like, wow.
The cutting and material are the same, the only difference is the print.
Which print is your favourite?
The playsuits are fully lined and not sheer.
The backzip makes it troublesome for toilet visits hehe (:
Sizing wise, fits perfectly? - Not much allowance/close to none. I am dependent on the stretchability of material, hope it can stretch more :( ) and I highly doubt I can eat much in this. Best for shopping trips when you walk around alot and don't feast much?
Fits uk 6 max for Size S imo.
2. YoungHungryFree - Cargot Shredded Jeans
It's so rare to see shredded jeans in Singapore -.-''
I would love to find one black or dark denim ripped shredded jeans :(
Well for this pair, I believed it's already sold out in site.
In love with the light denim wash and the exquisite shredded details.
Fits good and comfy, but have to be careful not to rip the shredded details.
The leather jacket I'm wearing is from Megagamie - Swag Away Peplum Leather Jacket in Black (S).
I also have the one in Camel (S), which I think I have reviewed before.
3. TheTinselRack - Daisies Farm Top (Black)
The cutesy daisy prints blown me away hahahaa.
Well, but I'm getting kinda disappointed when I see more and more online shops using the same daisy prints for other designs :(
If I have known the prints will be repeated so many times, I will not get this top. But nevertheless, it's still a keeper.
Loose fit, comfy. The black piece is not sheer though.
What's not to love, Stripes x Off shoulders.
My colleagues said it's very nautical hahaa.
Stretchy and fits great.
Not sheer with nude undergarments.
I can imagine wearing this frequent hehe.
Another stripey top to my collection, Yes I love stripes, what's more it's topped up with pretty laces ahahaa!
This top is an essential.
Non-sheer with nude undergarments.
Not lined, no zip, like a tee shirt.
I think the leggings are overpriced.
How can leggings cost more than $20 bucks =/
I am won over by the colourful, unique and vibrant prints hahaa.
Sizing fits great.
7. RunwayBandits - Frika Tweed Slv Peplum Top in Burgundy
This top is on sales now online!
The pleats on the peplum layer are gorgeous.
Nice cutting, I like it, a little preppy hahaa.
The burgundy colour, I am expecting it to be brighter like the one in the website.
However the burgundy is much duller IRL.
The sleeves are made of tweed with light gold subtle speckles.
Body is made of cotton/spandex mix.
Fits great and not sheer.
OTDs/Reviews
I caught a flu :( what luck.Just when I thought my immunity system is growing stronger now hahaa!
My nose gonna fall off sooner or later at the rate I am blowing.
Hopefully the flu goes away soon!
Should I take MC tomorrow from work?!
Some reviews and OTDs:
1. Dressabelle - Houndstooth Cardigan
OTD.
One of my favourite cardigan, in Houndstooth prints.
Comes with functional front buttons.
Material is slightly thin, great for Singapore weather.
2. Amberavenue - Briella Bustier Peplum Blouse - Ivory Creme (S)
This peplum top is OOS online and really recommend it if AA restocks again :)
Flattering cutting.
Comes with Anti-Slip.
There is a back zip which I dislike because it's troublesome to zip all the way up by yourself where the elastic band is. Imagine the agony you have to twist and turn your arm but the zip is just impossible to get up there hahaa.
Unless someone helps you or you will have to zip from front/side then adjust the top properly.
No double lining. Nude undergarment recommended for light coloured top.
Sizing fits great and fits at most big uk 6.
The stripe pants is from H&M.
Been wondering for the longest time should I get or not.
As much as I like it, I don't want something that is too common.
Because it's so dam popular now, online/offline that I see it everywhere.
I didn't get the piece from H&M in the end because of sizing issue. Yes I am in between sizes again.
HAHAA.
Seriously I don't know why, nowadays it's so hard to buy pants online. I think I'm growing fatter, my butt, my legs my waist etc :( I'm having problem fitting in Size S for pants. Oddly, skirts are ok.
Wtf are the pants getting smaller these days or I'm the one getting bigger :(
Depressed much.
3. WeAreRubbish - The Diamond Pants
Hahaaa checkered prints!
People asked if they can play chess on me zz :(
But I just love how fun and unique it looks.
Pants are stretchy and feels like legging-jeggings, not denim.
Sizing fits great. Might be snug for uk 8.
One issue I have with the pants is it keeps riding down after some time hahaa -.-?!
Too cute to resist, that's what I can only say. lol.
Super love this top!
Striking floral prints over a black base + flattering racer cut.
Honestly you just gotta get one.
Fully lined, not sheer at all.
No zip, throw over your head and go.
Stretchy. I fit Size S comfortably with slight allowance.
I should be in between XS-S, the model was wearing S so I followed.
TheTinselRack - Sundae Fonday Skirt (Neon Lime)
The Reverie bralet. I don't have the confidence of wearing it out just like this hahaa like very flasher =X
Most probably gonna cover with blazer of something.
Made of stretchy cotton, which looks like it will start furring after few washes.
I like the lace inserts though.
No zip, no boning, no padding.
Nude undergarments highly recommended for white piece.
The Sundae Fonday Skirt in Neon Lime - IS REALLY LOUD hahaa.
Anyway I'm letting go this skirt (BNIB), if anyone is interested, please contact me at fiorella.rain@gmail.com thanks.
Sizing wise fits great, skirt comes with a complimentary pink belt.
Skirt is fully lined hence not sheer at all.
Length is on the short side, not recommended for the tall girls.
